Let us tell you our story

From a Dream of Becoming a Rugby Player to a Booming Network

2016. While still playing for SC Albi, Julien Raynaud founded L’Agencerie—a real estate agency unlike any other. A company that supports its clients far beyond the transaction itself.

Ten years later, L’Agencerie has become a well-known network thanks to its strong presence in the southwest: Albi, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Arcachon, Anglet, and Capbreton. Learn more about our history!

Our History in a Few Key Dates

2016
L’Agencerie is launched

Still a third-row forward and captain of SC Albi, Julien Raynaud is already planning for life after rugby. He’s filing the articles of incorporation for a company he’s been mulling over for a long time: L’Agencerie, a portmanteau of the words “agence” and “conciergerie.” The name itself holds the promise: to approach real estate differently.

2017
The end of a career, the beginning of a new adventure

Julien Raynaud hung up his cleats and launched a real estate business in Albi. L’Agencerie was founded while the office space was being prepared. Soon, the first clients, the first projects, and the first steps toward building the concierge service followed. In August, the agency set up shop at 187 Avenue Colonel Teyssier, just a stone’s throw from the Albi stadium—a subtle nod to a previous chapter in his life. This is where it all began, and where the network’s first agency took root.

2020
The Founding of L’Agencerie Développement

Albi’s success has inspired others to join the venture. To properly welcome the first franchise candidates, Julien founded L’Agencerie Développement: an organization dedicated to rolling out the franchise, which includes a training center soon to be Qualiopi-certified. This is a key milestone: the network is positioning itself for the long term.

L’Agencerie is becoming a training center for its franchisees

L’Agencerie Développement has reached a new milestone: it has obtained Qualiopi certification. From now on, the training courses offered within the network—ranging from beginner to expert levels, and covering topics from professional ethics to lead generation—are eligible for funding by OPCOs. The skill development of franchisees is becoming a true collective asset.

Bordeaux, the network’s first franchise

We’re heading to the Chartrons neighborhood for L’Agencerie. Manon Raynaud, Julien’s sister, has teamed up with Antsa Degos for this new business venture. The two friends have known each other for over ten years and have decided to launch the network’s very first franchise. The circumstances aren’t making it easy for them: the COVID-19 crisis is in full swing, and they’re arriving in a challenging neighborhood without a local network. But their determination and close bond do the rest. The model is expanding beyond Albi and the Tarn region, proving that it can take root elsewhere without compromising its high standards or its promise.

2021
Sylvain Marconnet Joins the Team in Anglet

A mainstay of the French national rugby team, with 84 caps, two Grand Slams, and four World Cups under his belt: Sylvain has chosen our network to launch a new career. L’Agencerie Anglet opens its doors just 300 meters from the ocean. This partnership between two former rugby players turned entrepreneurs lives up to its promise: shared values, the same high standards, and a shared commitment to teamwork.

2024
Capbreton, Marconnet’s second branch

One year after Anglet, Sylvain Marconnet is building on that success with L’Agencerie Capbreton. This second branch allows the company to cover the Landes coast and establish a foothold in one of France’s most dynamic markets. The partnership between Sylvain Marconnet and Julien Raynaud is growing stronger.

Arcachon: The Bay Is Added to the Map

The network is expanding along the Atlantic coast. In Arcachon, Valentine Marquet, founder of Cousu Main—a concierge service already well-known in the Arcachon Basin—has chosen to affiliate her company with L’Agencerie. Impressed by the network’s offerings, she sees it as a natural extension of her business and a way to enhance the support she provides to her clients. In return, L’Agencerie gains valuable expertise: that of a market where seasonal rentals, primary residences, and second homes intersect. And an agency manager who knows her territory like the back of her hand.

A brand-new headquarters in Albi

Seven years after opening its Albi office, L’Agencerie is taking its business to the next level. A brand-new building at 229 Avenue Colonel Teyssier now houses the core team and headquarters of L’Agencerie Développement. This marks an opportunity to expand the company’s services: property management has been added to the list of services offered.

2025
Toulouse: Back to My Roots

Toulouse holds a special place in Julien Raynaud’s history: it is his hometown and the site of his first professional contract with Stade Toulousain. It is here that L’Agencerie will take the next step in 2025, with a new location at 21 Avenue Jean Chaubet and an in-house trained manager, Fabien Andrieu. A strong team and a revitalized location: everything is in place to fly the network’s colors high in the “Pink City.”
