Frequently Asked Questions
Several specific reasons, including:
- Local knowledge: Each agency has an in-depth understanding of its market, the best neighborhoods, and the pitfalls to avoid.
- End-to-end support: We don’t just hand over the keys—we also handle tenant relations when the landlord entrusts us with property management.
- And the consistency of the network: no matter where you are in France, you benefit from the same high standards and the same methods.
The network first expanded in the southwest (Albi, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Anglet, Capbreton, Arcachon) and continues to grow throughout France. To find the branch closest to your rental project, check out our branch map.
The rental process consists of four steps.
- First, we’ll work together to define your needs: type of property, location, budget, and desired lease term.
- Next, you’ll browse our listings, and our agents will identify available properties that match your criteria.
- Next comes the viewing phase and the preparation of the tenant’s application.
- And finally, the signing of the lease and the move-in inspection, with the assistance of the local agent, who will remain your point of contact throughout the lease term.
Here are some examples of documents you may be asked to provide:
- Identification,
- the last three pay stubs or tax notices for self-employed individuals,
- proof of residence,
- employment contract or employer’s statement,
- and the contact information of guarantors, if applicable.
Please note: Your L’Agencerie agent will provide you with specific details about the documents required based on your situation and the type of lease.
Sign up for our email alerts: you’ll be notified as soon as a property that matches your criteria is listed.
You can also contact the agency in your area directly. The best rentals are often snapped up before they’re even listed, and our agents can tap into their local network on your behalf.
